Owner of the last Stax #1 R&B hit is Shirley Brown, and she did it with the proto-rap intro of "Woman To Woman". Picked this up in the shrink for $9, so here's to deep value deep soul. Looking forward to a listen, love that cover art. Shame that Shirley had to have her hit in late 1974 when Stax was falling apart. Great news!
